I went to her several years. She came highly recommended by several nurse practitioners and pharmacists and she exceeded expectations. She was well worth the fact she did not take insurance only out of pocket. I would have paid more. She helped improve my health, energy and knowledge of my body.
To the Dec. 29 2020 post, Dr. Lorentzen is fully retired. I got that message in May 2021. If you had been seeing her for several years, you must have known about her "no medical insurance' policy. You seem surprised by that.
Be cautious with this doctor! I took my 19 year old daughter to see her for Amenorrhea and this doctor had no answers other than the birth control pill. She assumed I was there to stop my daughter from getting the prescription and that was certainly not the case. We were going to her expensive out of pocket practice to get a second opinion and hopefully resolve the lack of periods. She prescribed my daughter birth control and then proceeded to make a two minute phone call to follow up - and charge us 90 dollars for this call... read more
It would not be hyperbole to say that she and Sue Horton saved my life. I will be forever thankful for these courageous women.
Unfortunately no. Been a patient for several years and scheduled yearly appts. But because I reached age 65 was told even having Medicare now and insurance that pays independently that she wouldn't see any longer. Very disheartening.
Changed my life. Knew exactly how to identify the issues. HIGHLY recommend seeing her. Spent 2 hours with me to review my information and identify problems at initial consultation.
