this is a good hair salon and so is the service it's near everything and the subway is right outside and the stylist are great especialy greg so, don't belive what the person of the second comment said. I was there that night and it was his bridezilla who hate the haircut not him. she came in yelling like a madwomen and started disrespecting and insulting the receptionist. she offered to have another stylist to fix the haircut but refused. she was being abusive to her man who did like his haircut. for all i know she made him... read more

Nightmare Haircut – I had a nightmare hair cut there this past weekend. The stylist Gregory cut my hair too short and made me look like a retard. He insisted that it was a good look. I requested for a better stylist to trim my hair and was refused. Salon receptionist was hostile and wanted to rush me out. Strongly discourage anyone who needs a decent hair cut to go there.

Butchered Hair – I went to the location on 45th Street near Grand Central Station and the Met Life Building. What a waste of 82 bucks! I will never go here again. This guy ruined my head of fine hair and made me look like cheap white trash. The way he cut my layers was not right for my face or hair type. He got a little too scissor-happy while flirting with me the whole time, knowing I have a boyfriend. I just wanted a classy haircut with long layers. I was specific about not wanting short layers!!! I didn't ask for a bowl-c... read more

you get what you pay for – back in my poorer college days i used to go to this salon (is it just me or have the prices rose significantly in the recent years???). the customer service is terrible to say the least. their staff is impatient, poorly organized, among the list of other faults. i wouldn't get any service done here other than a wash + blowout, which they have special reduced prices for on M-W. cuts here are rushed because the place is usually flooded with people no matter what day of the week and your hair will end... read more

Avoid when you want good service – I have been a faithful customer for the past five years. Today I drove from Queens after work for 1 1/2 hrs to the salon on Lexington and 68th. I arrived at 7:25 pm and was told that they could not service me, and I would have to return the following day. When I asked what time they are scheduled to close, I was told at 7:30p to 8pm. When I then inquired about why they wouldn't service me, the manager (whose name I regrettably did not inquire of, tall African American woman with very short ... read more

Suprisingly good service – I have been going here on and off for three years. Off because there are too many cute places not to try. I've had very good cuts elsewhere, but this is the best salon for the price. I recently cut my hair into a boyish pixie cut, which can be very scary looking and ego crushing if cut badly. Lee did a great job. Lee always listens to what I ask for. I'm even more pleased with her results when I get positive feedback from other people. The place is bright with great magazines. Very friendly and cou... read more

How long does it take to do highlights?? – I arrive at 6:20. I am told to sit and wait for a minute. That minute turns into AN HOUR! At 7:45, when I finally sit down at a chair and the colorist comes to look at my hair, I try to tell him what I want. They make a very big deal of being french and not understanding you. I"M Spanish, I know about being foreign, so don't push the posh onto me!! THEN, he goes on to tell me: it's too late, we have to close by 8pm, I cannot finish in time. WHEN SHOULD I HAVE COME IN?? By noon?!?
