The experience was horrible and that is putting it mildly. She made me feel uncomfortable from the start. She did not have the best interest of my boys. She told my son he was a liar. She is rude and makes it a point of letting me know how much of a discount she was giving me. I do not recommend using her she doesn’t help with the co parenting sessions.

Jean made me uncomfortable from the time I arrived. She was rude, condescending, and made it clear that money was her only concern. After ending the meeting 20 minutes before the 45 scheduled, she wrote an email to me, my ex, and our attorneys including details from conversations with my ex (about me). This is one of a handful of reviews I've ever written, but this is a serious topic. Jean is outstanding. She's straightforward and doesn't BS you like other therapists. If you want to be coddled and placquated then see someone else. If you want someone that's going to help you get it together and set you on the right path, see Jean.

It's been a little over a year since I had my first visit with this therapist and it was absolutely dreadful. The office staff was terrible in terms of handling paperwork and personal information was disclosed inappropriately at a meeting with my ex-spouse. The therapist seemed superficial and far more concerned about finances versus helping the child/family. Jean Deters is the very worst therapist I have ever had experience with. She robs you of your money, time and provides advice and guidance that endangers the well being of families. I would give Jean Deters a ZERO in regard to any and all services she provides. BE WARNED!

Very hard to get in contact with. Everything gets twisted around to make herself look good. When you get there on time for appointments you sit another 45 minutes waiting to go back, but if you are later 10 minutes you have to pay 45. You also get told insurance covers appointmentso and when you get here it doesn't and you have to pay 150 up front. For a hour visit you only are not he office for 45 minutes.

Appointments are supposed to be 45 minutes in length, yet every time I've gone they have felt very short and I feel as though nothing gets accomplished. My most recent session lasted only 13 minutes (timed). The next day, I left her a message on her machine telling her I feel as though I don't get the required time that I need. My next appointment, she had me waiting a little over an hour to get called back into the room (possibly in retaliation to my message). She should not have a license.

Dr. Jean is very compassionate . She is genuinely concerned for the well being of each client and so confidential with her cases I would recommend Jean Deters to everyone.
