I don’t often write reviews unless the experience was really good or really bad. Unfortunately, with JDS it was a terrible experience. If you want a really bad CPA doing your taxes, use JDS. They are absolutely awful. They do not know what they are doing and they take forever to respond and a ripoff
We used them because of a referral from our financial advisor. Service started out okay but there was no strategy planning and communication was horrible. We would ask a question and get a response that had nothing to do with our question. We still have an email that has been unanswered. The only positive thing about this company was the assistance with Quickbooks and the book keeper. Do not recommend communication was horrible.
We are a small non profit water utility in Weld County Colorado. As such, there are statutes that determine audit requirements. We were under the impression that an annual audit was required so for years we engaged an auditor. Spending over $7000 each year. Turns out this is not a requirement for our organization. Why, through JDS’s process was this not brought to our attention ? Getting JDS to return calls is similar to trying to get through to the IRS or Social Security.
