I installed my 2013 Toyota Prius Motor here in Southbay JDM Motors 3 months ago and my prius is running like new since i picked it up from these guys!!! I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a japanese engine or transmission. Amazing Prices and Top quality Products!
I arrived at this place and was greeted very well. They found a suitable part in the warehouse, checked it on the computer beforehand, and agreed on a reasonable price and even gave me a discount. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the responsive staff.
Avoid this place at all costs if you care about a warranty...Once you leave they dont honor it. Go to Redline of JDM or SF JDM...They both honor theyre warranty no matter what. If you get a faulty engine or transmission they will deny your warranty even if it its a reason they made up and NOT OUTLINED ANYWHERE. BUYER BEWARE! THEY ALSO LIED AND SAID I DAMAGED THE CONNECTOR! I HAVE PROOF I DIDNT AND THAT THE ONE THEY GAVE ME WAS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT!
I bought a 2015 Nissan Sentra transmission here for $1500. I had to not only swap the bellhousing, but also the valve body because the transmission they gave me had an entirely different connector on it making it impossible to use without swapping it. They said because i did that i voided the warranty. How does it void the warranty if its required to do? Shady business. I filed a charge back for the full amount. If that doesnt go through, ill be seeing them in Civil Court VERY soon for selling me a $1500 Paper Weight.
