We have been importing from Japan since 1997. The importing process consists of locating low mileage (45-60k mile) engines and transmissions, front end conversions, and other rare parts. Our location in Japan then loads large shipping containers and sends them across the ocean. Once a container has arrived at its destination port, it is then transported to our facility where we sort, catalog, and photograph parts for our customers. This company is garbage. Sells a kid a blown engine, then tells him ‘too bad’. No one, for anything, should give them money, ever.
My grandson saved and purchased from JDM. After replacing flywheel, gaping lifters and a dozen smaller items, the engine still has severe piston rod knock. JDM refuses to stand by their product and will not work with the kid. They said a Sema mechanic was not qualified to install and won’t honor any warranty. They actually said ‘too bad’. I will never do business again, and will tell anyone who asks to stay away from them. Fred Tomek
