I would not Trust Hugh Liao or any of these real estate agents. He referred some projects to my father only to know my father is in debt and will have hard time to close. They only care about the commission and not your best interest. I would be cautions and stay about from Hugh Liao he is out for himself and not his client. This is based on experience.
I was referred to Pei Zhang of JDL Realty and he was very unhelpful in helping me find and secure a deal. Number 1, I spent all the effort to search and find an apartment myself without any support from him. He would imply that there were not many units in Toronto that fits my parameters even though I received countless second opinions claiming that my preferences were very fair. It was a few years ago but I also wanted to give feedback to what seems to be normal shady practices of JDL rental agents. The selling agent didn't show up to first meeting saying he forgot? The second time he missed and was late for. He slept in and didn't hear his alarm, but I made him come anyways even if 1 hr late. I offered an extra $100 or 2 months rent to secure the place because I was desperate at the time, and he countered with requiring 14 months on a 2 year lease, plus an illegal damage deposit.
