Ive had plenty of issues with Byryder. I was dumb enough to get a second car with them. They only gave me $300 for the car I bought from them. Lots of little things wrong with the car from the start and its pretty difficult to be seen by the mechanics. The "warranty" isnt great. Posting this so I dont buy a third car after this one.
Customer service is horrible. I spent all day today calling to have my payment process, even leaving 2 messages, and not one single return call, even tho their website said they were open. Not to mention, I traded in a Sonic for the 2015 Equinox they were showing, and not one single person mentioned the vehicle's frame has a bend in it, causing the back tires to wear out every 6 months, down to thread! I’m pretty sure 4 years ago it was Nigel (frequently mentioned) who was kind and patient as I found a car I needed at the time. I just paid it off so this is a full life of the car review. The sales customer service is good, my car did need a new alternator pretty quickly but I was able to use the limited warranty they provided and I paid like $25 and had no more problems until the limited warranty ran out (of course, right?) If it was acceptable to give them no stars I would. The buying process of the car wasn’t bad but boy do they not check their vehicles before they sell them. Bought a 2017 equinox from them, about a month after I bought it, the car started to make a knocking noise, take it in, it’s bone dry, not a drop of oil in the car but was full when I bought it.
