We receiving a mailing about back-to-school student haircuts and decided to give the Salon a try for my daughter. On 8/6/25, I booked an appointment using the website booking tool for 8/10/25 at 3:15 p.m. with Maemi. I received a confirmation message. We showed up a few minutes early on 8/10/25 to check-in. There was no sign of Maemi and the two stylists that were there were occupied with their own customers. We weren't asked to wait so left.

The hair salon at JCPenny is a great place to get children's hair cut. The price for a kid cut is reasonable and the stylists who work there are pleasant and professional. Both Ali and Betsy have cut my daughter's hair, and I can recommend both of them.

I am surprised at the rating of this location because I've seen the same hair stylists there for 5 years now and have been extremely satisfied with So strengthening my hair with Olaplex treatments in between my 5 shades blend colors w/ highlight. My hair has grown & thickened during that time under her care. I recommend friends all the time so do not hesitate to make an appointment. They are attentive & patient to make sure you're happy with your result!

I normally have no complaints. Stylist do pretty good. I made a same day appointment to ensure availability and the stylist took a walk in over my appointment and either I had to cancel or reschedule the next day. I had a same day appointment because I had a need for that day not the next day. Very unfortunate, wasn't very apologetic and didnt even offer a discount on next service for the extreme inconvenience as I was about 5 mins away from the location. Highly disappointed.

I had tragic canary hair, and Mario took the time to figure out how to approach the color correction, and it’s beautiful. Friendly staff - and I couldn’t be happier.
