I went in with my son and daughter for haircuts yesterday. They were pretty busy but they got us in fast. The two salons did such a wonderful job. The one salon successfully talked my daughter out of these awful bangs I didn’t even ask her too but I was praying in my head my daughter might change her mind but the stylist helped! And she did is so nicely and made it my daughters own. My daughter has issues with sensory and chopped her hair super short! The stylist was amazing. Terrible terrible service, it’s bad enough I haven’t had my hair cut in years due to having anxiety about it being cut. I went in and asked if they could do me as a walk in or do I need an appointment, the girl said well I guess we can take you now. Mind you this was 3:30 pm they were doing nothing but chit chatting & giggling. I already felt uncomfortable as if I’m intruding in on their party. I sit down the lady said what are we doing. i asked for a haircut “mod cut” and got the complete opposite, my hair was long and perfect for the haircut but they cut it too short and messed up the front and the sides

Went as a walk in due to my hair was very damaged and was a hot mess. I needed a deep conditioner and hair cut and style. And all they were accepting were hair cuts only. And they didn't have anyone to do my hair because they were booked with appts. But yet there was no one else there except 2 people in chairs. Bottom line JCPenney salon is not a real salon because their staff doesn't know how to cut treat style any other type of hair except for those with straight hair, or they are out of practice as stated to me by the man... read more
