I had an awful experience at JCPenney Portraits and would not recommend it to anyone, especially parents with newborns. When I arrived, I wasn’t even greeted or acknowledged — just completely ignored because I was a few minutes late due to traffic and the facility’s elevator being out of order (which made getting my newborn’s stroller upstairs a struggle). I don’t even have the energy to describe how awfully unprofessional and horrible, disagreeable, it’s very much as if it’s on purpose. The customer service does a horrible job at finding any proper remedy for the horrible way the studio is being managed. It’s really BAD.

Had an appointment for our newborn on April 11th, and the photographer Ms. Emma was very down to earth and professional! We cam right at our appointment time and she was ready for us buy had a prior appointment whose child was uncooperative. She let that family know that she will give them more time after our shoot and she did not rush our shoot at all. Our newborn was calm throughout and got the photos taken quicker than expected. Honestly Emma made a huge difference, she’s a great manager and managed to help me and my family out despite it being full. She’s really kind and made us want to come back. There should be more people like her.
