I had to get professional headshots done a few weeks ago. I was going through a difficult time and was very anxious about the whole experience. The photographer went way above and beyond the call of duty helping me to relax and make it through the photo session. She was professional, skilled, and kind. I’m very grateful to her and highly recommend this portrait studio.

The photographer was an absolute delight. She took photos amazingly well, helped us with poses, and was very grateful that we brought in pose ideas beforehand. Everything was great until the payment part. The employees tried to upsell us and were extremely rude and frustrated when we asked to hear about all the packages, rather the first and most expensive one. Our photographer, Victoria, was very helpful and personable for our visit to get couples' Christmas photos. We were swinging in for our first time and got to talk briefly together and she was really able to smoothly get us situated. They came out wonderful, especially thanks to her guiding hand and suggestions, and we expect them to last for many holiday seasons. Very bad experience. Poor customer service. Bait and switch pricing. I took a chance on JCPenny Portraits because they were running a very good Black Friday deal for a holiday portrait session - $80 for the digital photos, no sitting fees, and a fee little freebies like a fridge magnet. I clicked the link for the deal, where it prompted me to sign up for an available time slot. All seemed good. Employees rushed us through our extended session. Didn’t take near enough photos. When dealing with little children it’s best to snap as many as possible while they are distracted. Waiting for them to make the best shot is never going to work. They spent almost ten minutes on one pose with my child’s back turn to them! You can’t see his face in them.
