Recently I puchased 7 yards of garden soil (bedding soil) for some new raised beds, they are 8X3X4. The dirt is not a good mixture. The soil test shows zero nitrogen and its Ph base is alkaline in the extreme. I called to ask what could be done and was told that this has never happened in the 10 years they have sold bedding soil.
