Short version: I would strongly recommend never hiring AJ—especially if you own a historic home or expect to be treated with professionalism and respect. This was easily the worst contractor experience I have ever had. My husband and I hired AJ to remodel the kitchen in our first home, a historic Victorian. Do it this company does not take safety precautions while transporting their cargo. Today on the highway they were driving sporadically swerving while carrying a load of broken rock it was flying out all over the highway I saw them knock 2 cars off the road due to the rocks flying and hitting their cars it's shattered my windshield their license plate on the back of the truck is is Bent so you cannot see it and as soon as he saw me pulling up with my phone to take pictures he slammed on the brake and took an exit ramp cuttin... read more
