We bought our home a year ago today and quite honestly has been nothing but frustration. We were completely lied to about the water situation. We were told to let it run since it was new construction. Needless to say 11k later we needed to install a water treatment source. So has everyone else in this neighborhood. We had an awesome experience and our house turned out really nice. We've been in the house for almost 2 years. We had a small part on our HVAC unit fail and they came out and fixed it next day. Otherwise, everything has been great.
Best advice I can give is run!!!! The whole experience was a disaster from day 1. First it was not finished when it was supposed to be, so that caused me to lose my interest and payments almost 400 more than they was supposed to be. The only reason I got in when I did was cause of my mortgage guy pushing to get me in. Had a leak that ruined my walls. When they came to fix it, they just wanted to put up new drywall and cover up the mold that was already in the wall. My yard was a swamp. They refused to fix it and said they do... read more
We purchased our home from JBG Builders in May of 2024. We visited the property weekly as it was being built. They laid dead sod on our property and also on bad soil filled with rocks. We had a inspection before closing and also questioned them about the sod. This was listed in all of the things that needed to be fixed. They have not fixed anything that was promised.
