This restaurant is an institution and my family has been going there for over 30 years. It is in an old mill and the ambience can't be beat! The service is always great and the only complaint I have about the actual restaurant itself is the parking. In all truth it's really not the restaurants fault. It's located in a historic district and there are several other restaurants and bars in the area and parking is difficult at times. I've heard about Jays for years but had never been before. The food was as good as I'd heard it was and the service was excellent as well. Look forward to dining there again.

First time at Jay's. The food was great!! We were there for my birthday. Husband, my sister and brother-in-law. Calamari appetizer :) I had the baked cod and asparagus. Husband had cedar plank salmon . Sister had king crab legs. My brother-in-law had bone-in steak (best he's had :) ). Our server was stupendous!! Great birthday dinner :)
We had an amazing evening!!! The service was great, and the crab was phenomenal. The only complaint I have is the hostess, and or front of the house manager was very condescending, and had a better than attitude. We spent a great deal of money for 5 people. She could have been a little more inviting. Thank goodness we had CiJay to make up for the unprofessional version of the front of the house woman. Thanks for great food, and a wonderful evening otherwise.
