Love the food and all the people working there. I'm ready for the next wine lunch.
My wife and I have frequented Jay's for about 4 years now. The food is always fresh and correctly prepared. The old town period inspired atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service has been punctual, courteous, and non intrusive every time. And last but not least, the bar, an antique hand carved wood and silver backed mirror masterpiece of craftsmanship manned by a bartender with skills to match. Can't get enough Jay's in our life.
Atmosphere and service were fantastic! Meals, scallops and shrimp, were overpriced and just okay. We'd like to try the walleye, but can get guaranteed good seafood in Centerville or Troy.
My husband's Walleye was good but my Chicken Breast with linguine wasn't that great. That meal used to be delicious. Sauce did not taste homemade at all. Prego like. Still a nice atmosphere.
The food was awesome and had some great wine.
My husband loved the food and the atmosphere was wonderful along with the history. The bar waiters were great. This is the second time we've been there and we'd go again.
