The best in Lynchburg?
My favorite experience with jays was when I was told to be there 8 am and was only to wait a half hour before anyone appeared. They were all in the garage laughing and joking, I could hear them as I tried to call to them. Generally, their prices aren't competitive, they're rude, and the information they give you will change. Totally unreliable save for bad attitudes and horrible prices.
Long story but Jay used to work on my dads BMW back in the 1980s at Hammersley. I started to get Jay to do my work at Jays Auto once he opened up. They have always been good to me and have a good attention to detail. Fast forward many years and Jays son Chris is taking care of me. Chris is super down to earth and is genuinely there to help. Hes a people person as well as a car person. I like the addition of Mike Kriekeldorff (sp) as Mike used to work on my M3 also. He and Jay also worked side by side for years at Hammersley.... read more
