I saw Dr Patel at the Langhorne office for my chronic dry eyes. The staff were abrupt and impersonal. He prescribed Xiidra, giving me no information as to why this might very expensive drug (over $500) might be helpful. After nearly two weeks of using it as prescribed my eyes were worse in every way. In a return visit, which was as rushed as the first one, Dr Patel said to stop the drops and go see another doctor! I was very disappointed by the care I received.
I waited in the almost empty office for an hour an a half before I saw the doctor. At half an hour I got up and asked how late the doctor was running as I had a busy day and if he was very behind I would have rather rescheduled. I was told he would be right with me. I didn't see any patient leave when they finally called me back, which made me feel like he was just taking a break. He then didn't provide any explanation for my issue, just "use these $150 drops". I won't be going back.
