I went to Jayne as a child a now my children see her also! She is the absolute best and always makes my kids feel comfortable, my youngest son Jaxxon always goes right into her arms!
We’ve been using this dentist for a couple years but after my son’s experience from dental work, we won’t be back. They don’t allow you in the back with your children to build trust! My son is terrified of needles and had to have a couple teeth pulled. Yes you could hear from the back screaming and yelling because he was terrified. He expressed to me afterwards that the dental assistant told him “to be quiet, that he was being ridiculous” mind you he is only 7. Dr. Shermann has been Fletcher’s dentist since he was tiny enough to sit on my lap—and we’ve loved her ever since! She’s sweet, gentle, and somehow makes going to the dentist something my kid actually looks forward to. Total magic. She’s taken amazing care of him through every toothy milestone, and I can’t recommend her enough. She’s the real deal—kind, patient, and seriously the best.
Honestly, if I could give this place no stars at all, I would. I chose this dentist because of the good reviews I saw from other parents; however, the experience we had was absolutely traumatizing. My son (only 4 years old) chipped his tooth causing the nerve to become exposed. He would not allow his regular dentist to numb it in order to pull it; therefore, they referred us here so we could have him sedated (they stated he would most likely receive laughing gas) in order to ensure he didn't leave the dentist traumatized.
