It amazed me that when I first met him I was getting a shot and he never introduced him self and he never even acknowledged the nursing staf.I hope I never see him again. I don't know who he knows at mercy but they appointed him the head of pain management.
I've been going to Dr. Shah for a couple of years now and he is always very polite. He asks me how I am doing during the procedures and fully explains everything that is being done before and after. He is great at what he does, and I would recommend him to anyone.
I was given a verbal diagnosis of facet joint disease and degenerative disc disease (DDD) by this provider, with my partner present as a witness. Despite this, and despite it being mentioned in his own clinical notes, the doctor has refused multiple times to document the diagnosis formally in my chart. This has directly interfered with my ability to receive appropriate care and disability documentation. My experience with Dr Shah and his pain management team was very disappointing! I had never felt such severe pain throughout my body when Dr Shah performed my injection and my experience with a nurse was not good either.
BEWARE!!!!! I cant say anything about the Dr himself but either his receptio ist or his nurse called me and told me that Dr Shah agreed with my Dr, about a stimulator, I was being referred to Dr Shah because I told my Dr I would rather go with a pain pump. Right there told me that there was no reason to make an appointment with him. Now keep in mind, she never said anything about an appoinment.
