Diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was referred to an Endocrinologist to followup with which I went with Dr Naryan. I was immediately prescribed thyroid meds with little explanation of my new thyroid condition which was later discovered to be caused by Hashimotos. Absolutely everything I know about Hashimotos and hypothyroidism I've had to research myself. Excellent endocrinologist..
My experience has been limited communication during appointments…even when I was expressing symptoms of severe depression, not being able to work, losing interest in all activities, not wanting to eat. Even when the lab said I was “within normal limits,” I knew my thyroid was low,/dropping but she offered no opinion nor insight. In my 76 years of being treated by physicians all over the United States of America and abroad, I've never experienced such non-caring, rudeness, nasty, unhappy and unprofessional individual as this Dr. Jaya Naran. She has the worse bedside manners I've ever encountered in my life! I wouldn't recommend her to my worse enemy. I've informed my primary care physician of the office visit incident that occurred on June 21, 2024 and said that I will never return to her for another visit!
