It’s normally closed but just peeking in the window at his latest works is always nice. I have some background in fine arts and IMHO Jay’s mastery of colour and light surpasses that of Monet, and his composition surpasses Bierstadt. Unfortunately the histograms and compression algorithms that are applied to digital images mean that the brilliant subtleties are lost online and the paintings need to be appreciated in person.
Jay is a great artist and an even better person.
