Dr. Tempkin is a breath of fresh air in todays mental-medical health profession. His knowledge, experience, professionalism and responsiveness benefited me over several years and exceeded my expectations. While he may come over to some as brash, its really because he truly knows his stuff and cares for his patients.
I have been seeing Dr Temkin for several years and can honestly say he has always treated me respectfully and shows a level of care and compassion that is rare to find in a provider. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of services as he has been courteous and dependable from my intake appointment through this very day.
I was a patient until he refused to provide authorization to my insurance company for the medication he had prescribed for me. I reported him to all the standards Boards I could find. Each reported back that since he wasn't a member, there was nothing they could do. He is not interested in patient care. Please be careful.
