Do not let him cut your hair if you wear a short hairstyle. He does not listen to what you want. I told him more than once I didn’t want a spikey hairstyle & that is exactly what I got. Well, I can’t even call it a style. He said he didn’t cut much but when sweeping it up he said oh I guess I cut a lot off. No joke!! I was pretty sure it was a really bad cut when he started blow drying & couldn’t style it. The back of my hair is so short I can’t even grab it to curl it.. maybe an inch long in some places! I only go to Jay now for my haircuts and color. He is super experienced in cosmetology: 1989 so 34 years of exp. You'll be able to tell how passionate he is about hair from all the details he goes into about his technical and artistic decisions before/during the cut or color.
