I don’t usually like to make reviews like this however I do think this needs to be addressed. On Saturday 15-02-2025 just after lunch time, I was shopping at Jay Jays for a T-Shirt for my niece’s birthday. I heard two women yelling before entering the store. This is nothing new for Carousel so I took no notice. Upon entering the store I looked around for a salesperson to seek some advice from as my niece is in the 18-22 age bracket. The two women working were so kind and accommodating, and helped me greatly with such polite and kind service. The woman who served me was incredibly patient and was an amazing help. Over all, amazing service.
Genuinely haven’t received such great service from a retail store in so long, until today. I just came out of this store, the two girls working were lovely. One of them was super accommodating and helped me soooo much with purchasing some jeans! Ended up purchasing 3! She educated me so much about Jay Jays jeans and how they have elasticity in them. She really knew so much and also was just so amazing! Loved her personality! jay jays are lucky to have her. 10/10 sis 🕺🏽
The staff here are so friendly and helpful. Lauren was great and made me feel so comfortable while helping me put together some outfits.
HORRIBLE RACIST EMPLOYEE The man with reddish looking hair and black shorts made me feel extremely uncomfortable today 05.10.24 he kept staring at my little party box bag as though I was stealing things and then at the end he “accidentally” left the tag on which caused the alarm to go off as I walked out with my PAID FOR items and he had to check my bag. Racial profiling based on my dark skin colour. If this is how workers are told to act I definitely won’t be coming back!! What a dreadful and horrible experience
