I was definitely looking forward to spending the weekend in a house like this with my wife and our friends, but after we found a rat and it’s droppings around the living room, it totally shifted our excitement and anticipation for the weekend. Just a quick disclaimer: my friend was the one who booked this Airbnb, but I was one of the guests for the stay. Our booking was for check in July 10, check out July 12. I got there with my wife and baby at around 3:45pm. Our friends were already there (arrived at 3:40pm) at this point and when we went inside the first thing they told us was “we have an extra guest in the house”. Checked into this Airbnb and found a live rat in the trash can and rat droppings under the sink, in the couch, and in the pantry. Absolutely disgusting and unsafe for families. Host was unhelpful and trying to fight the case with Airbnb. Prioritized homeowner’s money rather than guests’ safety. Absolute nightmare to deal with. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE. SAFETY HAZARD!!!
Gorgeous rental property with beautiful amenities! The host was so sweet and helpful! Location is close to the village and lots of fun restaurants. Highly recommended!
