We ordered snow and Dungeness crab. The snow was good the Dungeness tasted funky. My wife's Dungeness smelled of Ammonia that she noticed after taking a bite. The manager was being helpful but in the end basically said there was nothing wrong with the food when obviously there was. Trying to make the hour drive home currently having to stop for my wife to run into every bathroom we can find..
Went in for lunch today and was speaking with the sous chef Dave who said he was waiting for an order of fresh sockeye salmon that was caught in Alaska YESTERDAY! About 20 minutes later a box arrived of fresh salmon that was caught and sent to their front door in less than 24 hours! Not to mention their exclusive oysters that are only grown for the Jax restaurants. You forget you are in a landlocked city when you eat the freshest seafood at Jax!
Beyond fantastic service. The recommendation given to me was spot on. Worth the visit, the customer experience is amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect!!
