It took us about 18 months to settle on a van that suited us. We have been back three times for warranty repairs with the superego awning being a major disappointment in its engineering. The service staff are very helpful but when Jawa has decided to utilise a low grade awning for their vans it has brought the whole experience downward. I did expect more in quality from a van of 80k plus and have made modifications myself which I feel should not have been made if more thought had been put into the van. This is our second purchase from JAWA. We have consistently found the JAWA team to be helpful and caring toward their customers. They offer a variety of vans that are capable and truly suited to offroad and offgrid camping. We have loved our adventures in our first hybrid and look forward to many more memories in the new Commander.

Jawa again is providing a sub-standard product and service. Purchased a new Retreat in Nov 2024. Problems upfront included 1. no working brakes, magnet were not connected and one magnet still had rubber band around it. I spoke about this problem 3 times and one comment made was that van was overloaded after expressing fishtailing when breaking going down a hill.
