Was rude unprofessional. unnecessarily rude didn’t really care about patients. You can’t talk to him if you have any concerns about anything. makes his residence do all of his work. He doesn’t know how to act with patients. Trust if you don’t want your kid to have mental health issues, don’t go to this guy. He also called his patients fat and names things like that.
He helped my sons asthma after countless trips to doctors. You can tell he loves kids with the way he interacted with my son. I am very thankful he was recommended to me. He gave me the tools and medication to manage the asthma and was always available if I had any questions.
I flew all over the U.S.Trying to get help for my 3 asthmatic sons.Things were so bad when their chest/lungs were smaller.Dr.Akhter, is The number one pulmonologist,ever!He saved my chidren lives! Had him paged to ask him questions about side effects my son was having after the methacholine challenge. He hardly wanted to answer my questions and keep saying my son isn’t his patient. You’re the doctor on call jerk. Don’t be in this profession if you don’t want to do your job. This is my sons life not to be taken as lightly as you were taking it.
We brought our daughter to Dr. Javeed Akhter for multiple immunology tests. Dr. Akhter and his staff were great to work with. Lisa was especially helpful. We would recommend Dr. Akhter to all of our family and friends!
