Let's just say, don't ask for cream, even if you say "light cream". I ended up having a splash of hazelnut coffee with my glass of milk this am- not impressed. Never is this place consistent with how they prepare an order, not to mention the extremely flimsy cups the iced coffee gets served in. I feel like I have to handle the cup like a carton of fragile eggs. And on top of that, it's twice as much as other cups of coffee around here, and the workers rarely smile when they greet you. The coffee is stellar. The service, price and employees leave ALOT to be desired. I order the same thing pretty much every time and somehow the price always changes. Last week, I ordered 2 medium black iced coffees and it was close to $8. When I went to ask why the prices had changed the barista was already back inside texting on her phone and laughing with the other employee. Your coffee and breakfast sandwiches are delicious. However, I'd say 5 out of out 10 times you manage to mess up my order. The price varies, you put my sandwich on the wrong bagel or do the wrong meat. Today I was asked to please order the sandwich before I order my drink. However, I ordered my coffee and the lady didn't ask me if I wanted anything else before she stepped away from the window. There have been numerous times I have been treated rudely. I absolutely love the Java House! I love the coffee I love the bagels they are incredible. However today I went to the java house and was greeted by two of the rudest baristas I've ever met! I'm sad to see what this is becoming as it is one of my favorite places to go. The lady was rude and the young man in the baseball cap Outback was very very rude and she made the excuse that he was drunk still and hungover from yesterday. I got way out of my way for their brewed hazelnut iced coffee. Seriously, I pass 3 coffee joints to get my coffee here.
