I'm from out of town and was looking for someplace close to the Sheraton. I had the monkfish, which was served with grilled asparagus and potatoes. The fish was really good even though I would have liked a little bit larger portion. Having something other than french fries was also wonderful. I say at the bar and the wait staff was friendly and attentive.
It was Monday night, fairly late, party of 1, the chowder was pretty good but the Cobb salad (with crab) was weak. There was an out of place dressing plopped right on top of the crab so the crab flavor wasn't prominent. The blue cheese was so mild I question if it was really blue cheese. The service was slow and uninterested. However, I was a party of 1 so I get there was no big check involved, and it was the end of a long holiday weekend. Eeveryone gets tired. I would try it again.
Excellent chill place to have a good drink and authentic clam chowder. Must try the grilled cornbread with molasses butter. It is AWESOME!!!
