I was sent to this place around four years ago and I would just like to say that this did not help me whatsoever if anything it made My mental health worse this place does not care about your child. Don’t think that they tell you that they will only be feeding your child vegan food no real meat only on holidays. I've been to this facility many times. It is a true haven for the children in their care. Realizing that many of the children in residence exhibit fairly serious emotional and behavioral issues, I have to commend the staff for their ability to handle some very difficult situations, with restraint, respect and affection for the kids.
I dont know what its like now, but after the abuse a faced by everyone and how this place is structured. There is no redeeming the safe center. Im sad im not able to sue for the damages brought upon me by this establishment but i want to say. Never send you children here, they will resent you for it. Note: an experience i had is whenever i had a meltdown they brought you outside( it was cold year round because of the area ) and they put you in a doorway with spiders and cobwebs standing in front of you. As a parent who accepted help from Jasper Mountain Safe Center in 2020... this place is nothing as described on their website. I removed my child after communication with the staff just felt off, now years later, my child is doing amazing and finally processing traumas in a healthy way. I'm so glad I removed my child from this program. Sadly, part of the trauma she has been processing occurred at Jasper Mountain.
