Not exactly mom & pop style but for what it is - like a big NYC deli only Cajun - I enjoyed it. Spicy seafood gumbo did not disappoint

The soups are really great
You can eat cheaper here than McAlister's plus they have free soft serve ice cream here! The French onion soup is great.
Manager special. Half club royal and Brock and cheese soup and drink combo. Add extra honey mustard on side.
I'm from Philadelphia, first to in LA and the Gumbo was incredible. A++
Best vegetable soup!
