Dr.Bariteau is a great doctor I broke my fibula and ended up having to get 7screws and a rod in my ankle. My surgery went great I had no complications. Before a full year I was back walking and able to move my ankle like normal again. Even with the screws and rod still in my ankle. I don’t feel any pain or the screws and rod everything feels normal. I saw Dr. Bariteau after breaking my ankle. He was highly recommended. Prior to the broken ankle I had a tear to the fascia just above my ankle. In May I was hit by a 16 wheeler. I can tell that the fascia has torn further, towards where my broken ankle is. I have lived with both injuries for months and know where the pain was, and how it has spread. I had surgery with Dr. Bariteau in January, 2025, to remove a bone spur on my left Achilles (Haglund’s Deformity). It is now more than seven months since the procedure, and I couldn’t be happier. The constant ache is gone, I’m not limping anymore, and I have even gotten away with wearing shoes that are not athletic (but no high heels — that will always be in the past). Dr. B was very attentive and thorough in explaining everything to me about my bones and surgery. If I had questions, he made sure they were answered and understood.
