My wife had a glioblastoma multiforme tumor. Dr. Banks did the craniotomy and completely removed the tumor. I was fortunate to see the quarterly MRI's and Dr. Banks work. He got every bit of it. Unfortunately, this is an extremely aggressive form of cancer. I believe the work Dr. Banks did gave my wife an additional 8 months. She had another tumor form that was inoperable, but if anyone could have gotten it, it would be Dr. Banks.

I had an appointment with Dr. Banks in January 2021 so it has been nearly 3 years ago. I am writing this now because I still feel traumatized by the experience as I was complete dismissed -- it was a devastating experience for me and I remember after my appointment sitting in the car crying. I recently was referred to Dr. Banks be ause I was having serious back pain and had an MRI through my family doctors referral. My MRI showed that I had multiple level disk bulges and further degeneration(I have degenerative disk disease). I had a previous surgery in 2016 to fix a pinched nerve and two ruptured disk that caused partial paralysis in my left leg. Which was done by another doctor. I’m sure it’s the schedulers and not Dr. Banks, but I’ve had 2 appointments. First appointment I waited for 1.5 hours after my appointment time to spend maybe 5 min with Dr. Banks. Came back for follow on appointment, and sat in the room for an hour after appointment time - no doctor. Told the nurses I had to leave, and they asked me to wait and they’d get the doctor. Not sure if they forgot that I was there, but I had to leave for follow on requirements…..plus…..I’m not willing to take that much leave from work just to sit ... read more
