Dr. Okuhara is the BEST! I feel very fortunate that a patient of his recommended him to me. Dr. O is thorough, knowledgeable and passionate about his patients' well-being.
Dr O is the absolute best! He's very patient and caring and always takes time to make me feel comfortable. I hate that I have a heart issue ?? but love that my cardiologist is Dr Okuhara.
I became a patient of Dr Okuhara's just one week ago today in the ER of LWR Medical. I believe he saved my life when he implanted 4 stents to arteries that were 99% blocked. He will be my cardiologist forever! How lucky I am that he was there that day!
Amazing cardiologist! He explained all of my test results thoroughly, listened to my questions and concerns. He made me feel very at ease. Thank goodness I switched to him from Dr Calderon in LWR who couldn’t be bothered to explain anything and was very rude & made me feel small. Dr okahara is the complete opposite. A Godsend!
I met Dr Okahara 5 years ago at Lakewood Ranch Hospital. I believe I was sent there by heaven above. I had signs of a heart failure with no pain at all. Sweating and shortness of breath. Zero pain. He keep me overnight and that morning found main artery 90% blocked and others had blockage. He installed 5 stints and save my life. 5 years later I still see him and got to known him and his Assistant, Terry at my appointments. What wonderful people they are.
My mother was fortunate to be one of Dr. O's first patients at Lakewood Ranch. We considered him our hero. On first meeting he immediately placed her in the hospital to monitor a small stroke and through the years stints were placed, small episodes occured and then a pacemaker was warranted. Dr. O not only had the knowledge and experience, he had the honest care and loving personality that made my sweet mother believe that she was his only patient. My husband had to go to ER and Dr. Okuhara placed a pacemaker to be a backup for my husband's heart rythum. In my lifetime I have never had a doctor that was caring, took charge, and great followup. He was the steady hand we needed at that time. We are going to switch doctors and make Dr. Okuhara my husbands Cardiologist.
I must say. Dr Okahara saved my life. I had 5 stints put in 4 years ago and I feel like I’ll live forever. What a great decision maker in his field. Him and Terry are the most caring people in the business. Truly down to earth people, love them both.
