Dr. Pothast has been my ortho for about 5 years now. MedStar Urgent Care, who took X-rays, told me to follow up with my ortho after a recent knee injury. Dr. Pothast was ready to drain the fluid that built up around my knee from the injury. But.... after his thorough exam of my knee... he ordered an MRI... and those results showed I fractured my tibial plateau... a fracture of my shin bone near the top of my knee.
