I had reconstructive/reduction it wasn't surgery it was an amputation. I now have two flat discs with nipples in completely different locations. One breast is over an inch higher than the other. Scars are an inch wide and can be seen around a v-neck top and under my arms. Requires twice as much surgery, fat transplant, implants and skin grafts to fix, probably lose the nipples.
I was sent to Dr Ganz for breast reconstruction , following a mastectomy. My breasts look AWFUL, One is larger than the other, one is higher than the other. I would NOT recommend him for any breast procedure. He might be a good hand surgeon but NOT a breast surgeon. His answer to me is perfect symmetry is hard to achieve. I have found a new plastic surgeon that says he can fix my BOTCHED breasts , I hope so.
