Wonderful reviews, Unfortunately, that was not my experience. In August 2024, I got an appointment for fibroid treatment options. First he made me understand that fibroid is associated with black women and hysterectomy is the only option for me even though he understands my concerned about having children.He proceeded to do a quick pelvic exam that made my pain worse, due to the nature of the exam.I later did MRI and he later contacted me to discuss, after several attempt to reach him. Dr Barnett is highly recommended he is very gentle n my mother doesn’t have any pain after her exam. Maybe the looks took the pain away .
Dr. Barnett was kind, thorough, and efficient. All of my questions and concerns were addressed and I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time.
I was referred to Dr Barnett for a complex ovarian cyst. I was quite nervous going to see an Oncologist, however Dr. Barnett came in and spoke to my husband and I and explained my option. He was very compassionate and caring. He explained everything he was going to do and at that time I knew I was in good hands. My surgery was done the following week and I have to say I was referred to the best gynecological oncologist. He’s the absolute best!
