Had to have an unexpected surgery meet Dr Walters through the hospital outcome was excellent. Answered all my questions spoke in terms I understood and made sure all questions answered. Would recommend him to anyone who needs general surgery.
My mother had a very disappointing experience today with Dr. Walters. She arrived for her appointment expecting to receive care, but because she does not speak English and did not have an interpreter present, her appointment was canceled rather than accommodations being offered. There was a young lady who works there who was willing to interpret but the Dr. himself told her NOT to interpret. My mom made a very far drive to be seen. If you’re looking for a highly experienced surgeon in Northwest Phoenix for laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Walters is an excellent choice. You’ll be in very capable hands.
Dr.Walters is amazing but his receptionist specifically Adrienne is HORRIBLE. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. She’s super rude tone of voice is always annoyance. She doesn’t take accountability for how rude she is instead she blames others. Because of how rude she has been throughout my experience I will be getting referred to a different doctor to have my surgery done. Be weary, his bedside manner may be a good disguise but don't be fooled. He treats his co-workers like rubbish. Very disrespectful, rude, irrational, and at best a jerk. It's very telling of who a person is by how they treat others, especially those who are "beneath" them. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement! Do better Dr. Walters!
