I've been once because of unrelenting pain in my wrist for over a year. I spent maybe 5 mins in waiting room and about the same in exam room before I was taken down to x-ray. After that maybe another 5 minutes at the most and Dr. Miller was showing me my x-rays and explaining options for treatment. I chose cortisone injection which he did right then (did not have to schedule for another day like so many doctor visits require).
