The reviews below are true. Stay away from this company if you can. They give a new face to the sleazy landlord of NYC. I lived at 132 W 112th street for 6 years from the day the building opened. Ex 1) We had an excellent super for 6 years - since the building opened as well. Later I found out that they paid him $200 per month and refused to pay him for all of the work he did in the apartments. His wife babysat the tenants' children to make up for their funds. BEWARE!!!! – I recently encountered Janus Property when they advertised for low-income 2-bdrm apt for $1027 that I absolutely qualified for. They're not trying to rent those apts, they're just getting government funding to develop those apts. as long as they feel the can't rent the apt, those apts remain vacant. According to the 3rd party realtor, which took my $40 for a credit check - Rapid Realty - those apts have been vacant for years. I think the LANDLORD is hustling poor people and tax payers. Shadiest landlords in New York – We've collected a few horror stories about our landlords, Janus Management Inc, that we thought we'd share... 1. Bait and switch on the advertised rent when we moved in (conceivable that this was an error by the broker but in retrospect not very likely). 2.
