great food! Shrimp and grits- creamy grits- were amazing. Dessert was great. wait staff: polite, plates were always cleared, beverages never ran dry (we just had soft drinks, but never had to ask). nice live band. clean and nice decor.
Friendly, warm welcome, live music and good food
The food is good at Jan's, but the waitresses are rude, unfriendly, unprofessional, hostile, obnoxious, uneducated, and unintelligent, especially Terri. A good meal is more than good food---it is good atmosphere, friendly clientele, etc, but great service is of paramount importance, and Jan's Beach House Grill lacks even acceptable service. It is said that the fish smells from the head down, and Jan' s attitude is arrogant, egotistical, and unintelligent, just like most of her servers. Service was beautiful, relaxing, wonderful and the old school music was excellent this 2019 Valentine's. We are visiting from New Mexico and wasn't at all disappointed with our first dinner to the city. kuddos to Jan for being personable and providing a wonderful place to come and enjoy. The atmosphere was pleasant. ❤
