I saw her over a span of 15 years. She delivered two of my 4 sons via C-section. She has kindness and compassion for all her patients. She is thorough and takes her time to explain the reason behind something. I wish she still worked here in Santa Cruz. I've never found her equal.
Horrible inattentive doctor, saw her for my entire OB care and delivery. Induced me for no reason, failed to inform me of my high anemia results, and also inattentive to my mastitis infection. I had to demand they send in a milk sample to the lab when they were refusing to and those results showed they had me on the wrong antibiotic the entire time! Saw her less than a yest later for an appt. And she didn’t even remember me as a client whom she had seen for an entire pregnancy and delivery! Do NOT see this doctor
Dr Doherty is an amazing doctor. She supported my VBAC despite my being plus size and not a prime candidate. She was present and encouraging all the way through to my post party’s and subsequent care. I will never forget her the moment she said, “No C Section for you today.” I had the birth I dreamed of and finally felt like a woman. You can not choose a better partner in your and your baby’s health! Make that appointment.
