I have been a patient of Dr Howatt for over 30 years. She works with me by asking clear questions, answering my questions , and giving me the available options with each diagnosis. Over the years, I continue ta have a great deal of confidence in her ability to get to the root of my problems while working with me to set up plans to deal with each illness.

My parents have Dr Howatt as theirPrimary care doctor. Dr Howatt is readily available and pays attention to my parents situation. I am confident in her ability and glad that my parents get great care from her.

I’ve been with Howatt for over a decade but my last REQUEST for a visit finally pushed me over the edge. Her bedside manner is direct/boarderline rude and extremely condescending when I didn’t know the correct term for a body part while I had just given birth and was completely sleep deprived. But this incident was the last straw. I had an accidental pregnancy and dr howatt wouldn’t even see me in person, just had the nurse tell me to go to planned parenthood because she will not prescribe the medication to end it. She was incredibly condescending during each visit and gave me medical advice that my gynecologist and psychiatrist told me was incorrect.

I really like Dr. Howatt. She cares about you like you were her close friend or relative. She has referred me to excellent specialists when needed. Smart compassionate doctor!
