I began sewing professionally 40 years ago but opened this location 4 years ago. Meet the Business Owner Janine K. Business Owner I found my bliss in sewing. This is a long overdue review of Janine’s for me! I’ve been going to her for probably 4-5 years (I’m 5 feet tall, so almost everything nice I own has to be altered and Janine is my girl!) she’s centrally located, has quick turn around, and just does a great job. However, she’s not the cheapest tailor in town but I’ve learned you get what you pay for!! For my wedding dress alterations, I went to a cheaper seamstress that the shop recommended. Quick service and great prices!
DO NOT USE THEM FOR SUITS. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with this tailor. I brought in two suits to be altered, and neither came out correctly. One of the suits was done correctly around the waist, but they brought the bottom up to the point where I can't even wear it. This was a suit I had my eye on for 2 years, and finally bought when it went on sale... now it's ruined. The 2nd suit wasn't even altered at the waist and completely hangs off.
