Dr. Janice Tiao is an excellent physician with outstanding credentials. I am a patient of hers, and my long time experience at MGH is that only the best doctors work there.
Not to lay all the problems with modern medicine on this person but after initial visit I blamed myself for perhaps not communicating my situation well..but just finished 2nd visit 10 months later (of course). So NOW I read these reviews...it's not me! How tragic she can be that cold and rush new patients like this. New scrip and bye bye....thats all of them now but this is embarirsngly blatant..at prestigious MGH with Harvard Med degree...could care less what I had to say.
This doctor spent less than 2 minutes with me when I came with a sudden itchy burning rash. She did not examine the rash except for a cursory glance at one spot of many - from several feet away. She stated I have eczema although I’ve never had eczema and it was not presenting as eczema. She prescribed cortisone cream. She was dismissive and seemed irritated about questions I had. I asked about follow and she said if it wasn’t better in 3-4 months then should see a breast surgeon. Cold and impatient and incompetent.
I didn’t check reviews before going to see her and should have! I have never been rushed through a medical appointment like she did. She is a miserable provider! I read my after summary notes on my chart, and she stated she reviewed risks. She never said a word about it!
Total waste of time. I knew more than her.
