Unpretentious and Professional – This is my kind of place--relaxed, no-fuss atmosphere with careful, detail-oriented professionals. They are friendly and gracious, not cloying. Never again... – I have no idea how this place got so many good reviews. I went to JRP for a Brazilian Blowout Zero treatment I got on Groupon. The guy who did my hair was nice enough but the treatment did absolutely nothing for my hair. To the point where I don't want to call and complain because I wouldn't even go back if they offered to do it again. absolutely amazing! – I went to Janet Rufin's Parlor to get a brazilian blowout and I am so glad that I did. I purchased a Groupon for the treatment and never had anything like this done before. I had read reviews here on CitySearch and was nervous by what some past clients had said. Terrible Experience – I went to Janet Rufin's to get the Lazio Keratin Treatment. Maybe because I used a Living Social coupon they treated me differently, but regardless the treatment did not work. Vicki (who also washed my hair?) applied the treatment and although the people were very nice, it did absolutely NOTHING for my hair. I've gotten Keratin before and I know how it should turn out, and my hair still frizzes just as much as ever. Japanese Hair Straightening – I underwent Japanese hair straightened with Sal at Janet Rufin's. I've been getting this processing for years and years now, but it was my first time with Sal. He did a FANTASTIC job. My hair came out silky straight and smooth, but not limp and flat. Moreover, my hair is in excellent condition. I'm really thrilled with the results.
Stacey is Awesome! – My hair is wavy and has a mind of its own. I have had a hard time finding someone who can cut it in a way that lets me be able to be the wash and go kinda girl that I am. Stacey did an awesome job! She really listened to me and did what was needed to revive my hair. I would go back to her in a heart beat!
AMAZING SALON – I went to janets for the first time for a new look. Stacey listened to my needs and did a lengthy consultation to make sure she understood what i wanted(unheard of in other salons) She then gave me an amazing color and cut ,I left feeling great !!!!!!!!!! The overall experience was terrific from Stacy to every member of the salon . Highly reccomend for all!!!!!
