Doctor Anderson saved my.mothers live. I'm not exaggerating. She is smart, experienced and kind. The best.
Poor communication skills, performs too many cardiac tests, poor follow up. I can not recommend this uncaring cardiologist.
After reading some of the reviews I was compelled to enter some of my own thoughts. Is some of what has been stated justifiable, sure, but here's my spin I have been seeing Dr Anderson for 2 yrs, never sat more then 15/20 min in waiting room, staff was welcoming and the test that were order I found she was being completely thorough. I am seeing Dr Anderson once a month and haven't felt rushed. Not everyday will be perfect and apparently my heart isn't either, but together the beat goes on!
Very pleased with Dr. Anderson.
Dr. Anderson was very attentive to my needs. She is the first medical doctor who actually took the time to explain my condition to me.
Office staff very disorganized and the Receptionist is slow and unfriendly. I went in the office for post hospitalization pericarditis on a Monday. They squeezed me in for an Echo on Tuesday late afternoon told me they would call Wednesday for appt. heard nothing, went in on Thursday yo get appt. I'm on a wait list with an appt on 2 weeks! Had to explain over n over this is urgent. I'm off work on blood thinners and in pain. No one seems to know what is going on.never even put paper on the exam
Business response:
Echo technician was asked to stay late to do her echo. Echo was read emgently. Copy brought to hospital and reviewed by intervential cardiologist, by cardiovascular surgeon and then electrophysiologist who created the pericardial effusion. All t agreed medical treatment. Pateint seen within 3 days. The 2 week follow up is given to all patients for routine reviews of her echo. I feel that this review is highy inappropriate. WIll speak to staff about paper on exam table.
Rude
Business response:
I would like a better explaination of this. Was I rude, staff rude, pateint rude. This is not our policy.
I was in the office, 8 minutes before my appointment to review my cardiac tests, but my visit was denied.. I was not notified that there was a penalty of this happening if I didn't arrive15 min. before my scheduled appointment. I was an established patient,(2 years),and my paperwork was up to date, as I had been in the office within the month for the tests. I felt it was unnecessarily cruel to not inform me of my test results.
Business response:
We request that all patients arrive at minimun of 15 mintues before they are scheduled to see the doctor. The MA is responsible in that time to do vital signs, get the chart in order for MD, input in the the EHR. This can vary between 10 minute to 30 minutes of EHR input . If a pateint come late staff normally asks if they can be seen, If the next scheduled patient has arrived already on time for their appointment, then they are asked to reschedule.
